The Wi.232FHSS-25-FCC-RA-R module combines a state-of-the art low power wireless transceiver with a powerful multipoint-to-multipoint protocol controller to form a complete wireless communication solution. With a simple UART interface, a 120dB link budget, and very low power operation modes, the Wi.232FHSS-25-R module is excellent for Automated Meter Reading (AMR), heart monitoring, building controls, wireless sensing and most wire replacement applications requiring ranges from 1/4 to 1 mile. The Wi.232FHSS-25-FCC-R uses the same protocol that its long range sister module, Wi.232FHSS-250-R uses.

The module can operate as a transparent wire replacement solution; it can also operate in a peer-to-peer networked mode that supports node addressing and assured delivery. The module is designed to be totally transparent. Data is validated using an internally generated CRC-16 and encoded using a proprietary algorithm. Multiple modules can operate on the same channel because of the built-in carrier-sense-multiple-access (CSMA) protocol.

The RK-Wi.232FHSS-25-FCC kit contains 2 Eval. Boards, 2 Wi.232FHSS-25-FCC-ST-R Modules , 2 serial port cables, (8) AAA batteries, 2 USB cables, and documentation/software CD. The Eval.
