The RK-Wi.232FHSS-25 development kit is designed for design and evaluation of the Wi.232FHSS-25-R embedded radio module. This module operates in the 902-928 MHz US band and can be used to transmit/receive data for virtually any wireless application. Its built-in protocol controller makes adding wireless communications to your product quick and easy.

The RK-Wi.232FHSS-25 Development kit contains 2 Evaluation Boards, 2 Wi.232FHSS-25-EVM Evaluation modules (EVM), 2 ANT-915-03A ¼ wave antennas. 2 serial port cables, (8) AAA batteries, 2 USB cables, and documentation/software CD. The Evaluation boards can be used as full-duplex null modems and can connect to RS-232 or TTL level UART ports.

Wi.232FHSS-25-EVM (EVM) modules and an assorted line of antennas can be purchased separately to create additional wireless nodes. All Radiotronix evaluation modules (EVMs) are pin compatible and work with any of the development kits. Download the appropriate software from the Radiotronix web site.

The Wi.232FHSS-25-R is designed to work complementary with its sister module, the Wi.232FHSS-250-R (250mW version). A full line of FCC and standard antennas are available to support the module. The 25mW radio has an approved FCC module family Wi.232FHSS-25-FCC-RA-R (Right angle) and Wi.232FHSS-25-FCC-ST-R (straight).
