Introduction

The STX88831 STX SoM integrates a high-performance, low-power 1.6GHz Intel Atom™ processor N270 with Intel 945GSE and ICH7M chipsets, delivering best performance-per-watt for communication, healthcare, automation, transportation, and surveillance applications. The Mobile Intel 945GSE Express chipset integrates an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 that delivers powerful graphics performance with dual-view displays: VGA and LVDS/TTL interfaces. Moreover, the STX module supports up to 2GB of high-speed DDR2 system DRAM on a single SODIMM. The low-power STX88831 module with a suitable baseboard is an optimized solution for embedded applications with various customized demands, which standard SBC cannot satisfy and also features a low total cost of ownership.
